The Apple Watch<\/a> SE comes with a Retina display and features sensors like an accelerometer, gyroscope, always-on altimeter with the addition of new motion sensors and microphones.
Apple is betting big on digital health features as the Watch SE offers robust health and safety capabilities including fall detection, Emergency SOS, international emergency calling, and the Noise app.
“Apple Watch SE<\/a> combines elements of the Series 6 design with the most essential features of Apple Watch, all at a more affordable price,” said Jeff Williams, Apple’s chief operating officer. “We’re excited to offer another great option to help customers stay connected, be more active, and keep an eye on their health.”
It is powered by S5 System in Package (SiP) and dual-core processor while the Digital Crown offers incremental haptic clicks.
The Watch SE comes powered by the watchOS 7.
The Apple Watch SE (GPS) variant starts at Rs 29,900 and Apple Watch SE (GPS+Cellular) starts at Rs 33,900. Both GPS and GPS+Cellular variants of the Watch SE will be soon available at Apple Authorised Retailers.
The advanced Watch Series 6 now comes with a Blood Oxygen feature and Apple has partnered with various health organizations to assess how blood oxygen level and heart rate can help users stay healthy.
Apple has claimed that the Blood Oxygen feature can measure blood oxygen directly in just 15 seconds.
The Apple Watch already comes with features like ECG, heart-rate monitor, and a fitness tracker.
The Apple Watch Series 6<\/a> (GPS) variant will cost Rs 40,900 and Apple Watch Series 6<\/a> (GPS+Cellular) variant will cost Rs 49,900.
