Reports suggest Apple may launch the next iPhones with a ‘ProMotion’ display with 120Hz refresh rate. According to a report by Digitimes, the 2020 iPhones will come with a 120Hz OLED panel. Note that this will not be the first time that Apple will be offering a 120Hz display. The iPad Pro offered 120Hz displays back in 2017 that was powered by iOS back then and not iPadOS.

All iPhones come with 60Hz displays and if Apple upgrades the display of future iPhones with 120Hz refresh rate then users can expect a smoother experience. This will also greatly improve screen responsiveness.

Meanwhile, Apple analyst Dan Ives claims that the Cupertino-based tech giant will launch four new flagship iPhone<\/a> models in 2020. Each of these iPhones is said to come with 5G connectivity support. The said handsets are also said to feature a rear 3D-sensing system, and “motion control.” This hasn’t been elaborated further so we will have to wait and see what more comes to light with respect to 2020 iPhones.

Even design wise, Apple is expected to change the way iPhones are going to look. While it would most likely stick glass and metal body, the shape could be similar to that of the iPhone 4.
