BSNL<\/a>’s IPTV services will be provided under the Ulka TV brand owned by City Online Media<\/a>, according to a TelecomTalk report.
BSNL customers in the Andhra Pradesh (AP) circle will start receiving access to over 1,000 TV channels along with their broadband connection, as per the report. BSNL Board Director Vivek Banzal<\/a> launched the service in Vijaywada on Friday, it added.
According to the latest data collated by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India<\/a> (TRAI), telecom PSUs BSNL and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL), held 36.04% of the wireline market share as of October 31, 2022.
Wireline subscribers increased from 26.47 million at the end of September 2022 to 26.82 million at the end of October 2022. Net increase in the wireline subscriber base was 0.35 million with a monthly growth rate of 1.32%, as per TRAI.
