\"China's<\/figure> NEW DELHI: Chinese handset company Transsion Holdings<\/a> will start exports from its Indian facility to African countries by January-March quarter of 2020, having done a pilot shipment to one of the African countries already.

The company, which sells
handsets<\/a> under itel, Tecno<\/a>, and Infinix brands in India, is also planning to almost double its manpower involved in mobile manufacturing to 4500 to support its export plans.

\u201cWe have a huge base in Africa and we would like to do a lot from India to Africa\u2026we will start exports from India by extending capacity,\u201d Arijeet Talapatra, India chief executive officer, told ET.
