This is the company's 11th design centre, and it has commenced with 35 engineers<\/a> and with a target to hire more than 100 engineers in the next six months. Headquartered in Ahmedabad, the company's other centres are in Bengaluru, Pune, Noida and Indore.

The company is actively looking to hire engineers in the areas of embedded systems, hardware design, silicon design, and digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity<\/a>, cloud and blockchain. It is also open to academic partnerships in the city to help develop the talent ecosystem. Besides getting access to quality talent, the company also expects the Chennai office to offer their teams across India more flexibility and freedom in choosing their work location.

“Our goal is to build a 500-member team in the next few years,\" Mangesh Kulkarni, vice-president and general manager-ASIC, eInfochips, said.
