\nAnand will lead a diverse team of 60 resources spread over more than 10 countries, driving HR strategy across India, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Phillippines, Myanmar and Bangladesh amongst others, a senior company executive told ET.

\nAn Ericsson spokesperson confirmed the development, saying Ms Anand’s focus will be “on continual organisational reshaping that advances strategy, developing agile leaders and transforming culture”.

\n“My main focus will be towards further developing and retaining world-class talent,” Anand told ET, adding that “HR should be a strategic lever” that enables a company to build a great work environment and achieve its business objectives.

\nShe said the opportunity to interface and work with HR teams and stakeholders of different nationalities would help in building best in class HR strategy for the MOAI market area.

Anand replaces Ericsson's India region HR head Sameer Khanna<\/a>, who has recently relocated to the networks gear maker's Stockholm headquarters to manage global HR in the managed services domain across multiple geographies.
