BRUSSELS: Italian state lender Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP<\/a>) and Australian fund Macquarie<\/a> have sought EU antitrust approval for their acquisition of broadband network firm Open Fiber<\/a>, a European Commission<\/a> filing showed on Monday.
