One should never really underestimate the power of a common man. In the telecom fray, it would be the housewife from Kolkata with a prepaid account who relies on her engineer son to take her through the ordeal of Mobile Number Portability; the farmer from a village in Haryana who hasn't seen a single ad from a telecom player in his life, and therefore depends on the kirana wala to pick his carrier and talktime plan; the millennial entrepreneur mother from Chennai who likes the Airtel<\/a> 4G<\/a> campaign for the clarity of its message, and still others who like it for the mascot. It is this consumer behaviour that should serve as a reminder to not forget 'small data' in the obsession with 'big data', not to fall short on the retail experience in a bid to strengthen customer service. Most of these consumers don't have a corporate account, a postpaid account, or social media to state their network woes.

Shephali Bhatt Amit Bapna Delshad

Kshetra Se Bahar

(Vodafone)

Manish Punwani 30

Zoozoos

Airtel(新Airtel 4 g广告在西隆2016):无处不在的萨莎Chettri和美丽的西隆背景让Airtel迷人地可信的广告。

Ankit Bohra, 31岁
联合创始人,Tapri(茶叶连锁咖啡馆),斋普尔

Amethi

Akanksha Arora, 25
学生,Karnal

I lost my number eventually.

Ajinkya Deshpande, 22

Ashima Sinha, 54
