American technology giant Google<\/a> has expanded the transit feature on Google Maps<\/a> to seven more Indian cities taking the total count to 16 cities.The feature which is aimed at helping users better plan their commute by giving them a better overview of public transportation around them has been introduced in Chandigarh, Lucknow, Vadodara, Indore, Mysore, Surat and Coimbatore<\/a>.
The feature was already available to users in metros and mini-metros such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore among others.
