MUMBAI: A grand feast is awaiting 800 top delegates and global CEOs at the inaugural dinner of the 'Make in India<\/a>' event in Mumbai on February 13th. Experience India Society (EIS<\/a>), an initiative of luxury hotels The Oberoi, Taj, ITC, The Leela, Hyatt and Marriott, will rustle up Indian delicacies for the visitors. Six master chefs from the hotels are looking after the dinner menu, which includes dishes from six regions of India - north, south, east, west, the Himalayan region, and the north east.

\n\" For the very first time in the microcosm of Indian cuisine, we will also showcase the North eastern cuisine and the Himalayan cuisine which usually gets lumped together with the North.. The menu is themed around the 'flavours of mother earth' and each and every ingredient will be sourced from within the country from sustainable farms,\" said Gautam Anand, member of advisory board of Experience India Society.

Delegates from over 1,000 companies across 60 countries are expected to descend for the 'Make In India' event which is being organized by the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) and the Union ministry of commerce and industry<\/a> between 13th to 18th February in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex.

EIS, which is looking after the food and beverage arrangements, will also set up a VIP lounge at the MMRDA grounds to cater to the heads of states and global CEOs. A signature 'Make in India' week mocktail and cocktail called 'Kaashi Kooler<\/a>' and 'The Indian Summer', respectively, has also been created by EIS.
