Together with
iFixit<\/a>, HMD Global<\/a> is bundling replaceable parts, including the display, battery, and charging port which costs $49.95, $24.95, and $19.95, respectively.

The entry-level smartphone is priced at $179.90 (~Rs 14,900) and will be available from mid-March onward with Android 12 OS out of the box. The company has promised up to Android system updates.

HMD Global claims that the
Nokia G22<\/a> is made of 100% recycled plastic. It comes with a 6.52-inch display with an HD+ resolution and up to 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Unisoc T606 processor at 1.6GHz, paired with the ARM Mali-G57 MP1 GPU.

It will be available in a single 4GB RAM+64GB internal storage variant in Meteor Grey or Lagoon Blue colors. According to the
Nokia<\/a> website, the smartphone may also be available with 128GB of internal storage.

The Nokia G22 has a 50MP main camera with a portrait and macro camera each of 2MP resolution, as well as an 8MP front camera. Additional features including IP52 certification, a 3.5mm jack, support for
Near Field Communication<\/a> (NFC), a fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 5.0. It houses a 5000mAh battery that is claimed to offer up to three days of backup.
