The global research firm said shipments in October declined 8% month-on-month and 4% year-on-year. “The decline was on expected lines as the festive season shipments peaked in mid Oct,” it said.

The share of the online channel was 51% in October 2021, down from 56% in September 2021 and 55% in October 2020.

Realme<\/a> led the online smartphone market with a 27% share, followed closely by Xiaomi<\/a> at 24% and Samsung<\/a> at 15%.

“We believe that in 2021 online channel share will be around 48% due to pandemic induced trends,” the firm said.
