The global research firm said shipments in October declined 8% month-on-month and 4% year-on-year. “The decline was on expected lines as the festive season shipments peaked in mid Oct,” it said.
The share of the online channel was 51% in October 2021, down from 56% in September 2021 and 55% in October 2020.
Realme led the online smartphone market with a 27% share, followed closely by Xiaomi at 24% and Samsung at 15%.
“We believe that in 2021 online channel share will be around 48% due to pandemic induced trends,” the firm said.
