Roy will be joining the software services major from Bharti Airtel<\/a>, where he is the Global CFO. He has spent the last 13 years with Bharti Airtel and worked for 15 years with Unilever across their global operations. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Delhi.

“He comes to us with extensive and rich global experience. We would like to express our deep appreciation to Jayesh Sanghrajka<\/a> for taking charge as interim CFO and thank him for ably executing this very important responsibility,” Salil Parekh, chief executive officer and managing director, Infosys<\/a>, was quoted saying.

Jayesh Sanghrajka<\/a>, who was last month named the interim CFO and was one of the contenders for the role, sources and analysts had told ET, would resume his responsibilities as deputy CFO, effective March 1, 2019. Sanghrajka, who spent 13 years at Infosys over two stints and has performed various leadership roles in finance.

M D Ranganath, who decided to resign to pursue professional aspirations, stepped down on November 16 as the CFO of Infosys.
