The ban had been issued by the district magistrate under Section 144 which permits the official to issue order in urgent cases of nuisance or apprehended danger. The order had been effective in Udaipur city area, adjoining Nai and Salumber<\/a> area.<\/p> Work has badly suffered for two days and many offices depended completely on internet services had remained closed for two days. A writ had been filed by one of the resident who claimed his business received a major setback due to the 'Netbandi<\/a>'.<\/p> The court had issued orders to the DM and the hearing was slotted for Friday however, owing to the lawyers nationwide strike, the hearing has been postponed for Saturday, advocate Sunderlal Mandawat<\/a> the petitioner's lawyer said.<\/p> All kind of online services including bus, railway and air tickets booking, hotel business, utility bill payments had gone to a standstill for two days.
