\nThe dual-SIM handset is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor and features a 5-inch HD and OGS display, 1 GB RAM and 4 GB built-in memory (expandable upto 32 GB).

\nThe smartphone is equipped with a 13MP rear and 5MP front camera with geotagging facility, 2,000 mAh battery and comes with preloaded apps and cloud storage of 5GB.

\"We launched Aqua<\/a> i5 HD at below Rs 10k price tag. We aim to strengthen connect with consumers while we understand their needs and constantly innovate to meet the aspirations at an affordable price point,\" he said.

\nLast year, Intex said it sold 11.5 million handsets of which, smartphones contributed over 1.5 million.

\nIntex, which also makes IT products and peripherals, has launched 32 mid-segment smartphones under its Aqua range and has plans to launch around eight more models during the next quarter.

\nThe company also plans to launch a 4.5-inch Aqua 15 HD Mini next week. Kalirona, however, declined to comment on product details.
