IT部提出建立国家传感器中心的意向书

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology<\/a> has floated an expression of interest<\/a> (EOI) seeking proposals from autonomous, government-recognised institutions, research, and development (R&D) organisations, and startups to establish a National Sensor Hub<\/a>.

In a tweet, the IT ministry<\/a> said that the applicants would get benefits such as translations of their research from the laboratory to the market, help and mentorship on the transfer of technology of the outcome of the R&D work.

The applicants would also get the opportunity to avail of government funding and royalty for the successful integration of technology developed by them.

<\/div><\/div>Startups that apply for the proposal would also be supported during incubation, and get mentorship as well as other possible help from the IT ministry.

The ministry mandated all applicants to collaborate with an industry partner and have at least a proof of concept ready while applying.

The last date to send the proposal has been extended to August 31.
