NEW DELHI: Jaina Group, the owner of Karbonn<\/a> branded phones, Tuesday launched the entry-level Gionee Max smartphone<\/a> at a price of Rs 5,999 in partnership with e-tailer Flipkart to address the Aspirational Bharat with affordable smartphones.
The Gionee Max<\/a> smartphone features a 6.1-inch HD+ screen with Full-View Dew Drop Display and sports a 5MP at the front. At the back, it features a 13MP dual-camera setup with a bokeh lens.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core processor (clocked upto 1.6GHz) and power is supplied by a massive 5000mAh battery that is claimed to provide a standby time of 28 days, 24 hours of music playback time, more than 9 hours of movie time, 42 hours of call time, and 12 hours of gaming.
The smartphone also supports reverse charging functionality. In terms of device security, it comes with a face unlock feature.
