The solution, Jio 5G Hyperlite Stack<\/a>, has been developed using Jio\u2019s indigenous offering, the telco's SVP Aayush Bhatnagar said in a Linkedin social media post Friday.
\u201cThe solution can be deployed on-prem as a pre-packaged core network - complete with indoor and outdoor radio cells fully integrated. Other options of edge deployment are also possible,\u201d Bhatnagar said.
<\/div><\/div>Jio\u2019s in-premise connectivity solutions will come pre-packaged with the solution for a \u201cseamless experience for the customer\u201d, he said. \u201cThis 5G in a box deployment can be governed from the cloud in terms of managed services operations 24x7 (Plan-Build-Deploy-Operate).\u201d
Bhatnagar added that the Jio 5G in a Box solution is fully cloud-native and helps meet the demands of industry<\/a> 4.0 use cases while bringing down the operating expenditure (OpEx) through operational efficiencies.
This follows after Jio revealed that it has built a 5G Network Slicing<\/a> Platform (NSP) which will enable it to offer Network Slicing-as-a-Service.
