报道:Jio后付款的客户将不得不支付最高1800卢比的保证金

Reliance Jio<\/a> recently rolled out post paid tariff plans<\/a> to woo the high revenue customers who till now were on Bharti Airtel<\/a> and Vodafone Idea (VIL)'s postpaid plan. The new plans are for Rs 399, Rs 599, Rs 799, Rs 999 and Rs 1499.

According to a regulatory filing with Trai by the telco, customers of the new postpaid plans will have to shell out money in the range of Rs 500 - Rs 1,800 as security deposits.

<\/div><\/div>For the basic (Rs 399) plan, customers will have to deposit an amount of Rs 500 as security.
For the Rs. 599 Postpaid Plus plan, the required security deposit is Rs 750. For the Rs 799 and the Rs 999 plans, subscribers will need to deposit Rs 1,000 and Rs 1,200, respectively.

The Rs 1,499 plan carries the highest security deposit, i.e. Rs 1,800.

Reliance Jio, on its website, revealed that the minimum period of subscription to the Rs 1499 plan is six months. It said that the users opting to exit from the plan within the six month period will be charged Rs 1499 plus applicable taxes.

Jio also mentioned that the breaking of the contract would include disconnection as well as barring of the account due to violation of its commercial usage policy, misuse, non-retail and fraudulent usage.

Jio also revealed that it charges Rs 135 plus taxes as subscription charges for Netflix Mobile, Amazon Prime, Disney+ Hotstar VIP and Jio Apps as part of final monthly rental across all plans.

Analysts recently said that Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea are expected to sweeten their respective postpaid offerings by bundling more OTT services to its postpaid offerings to match Jio\u2019s new postpaid plans.

<\/div><\/div>Analysts believe that any major subscriber churn in Airtel\u2019s existing postpaid subs, given its premium brand positioning and typically lower churn in the segment. The Sunil Mittal-led telecom operator recently changed its broadband plans by matching Jio\u2019s fixed-line broadband plans with unlimited data.
