NEW DELHI: Networking products maker Juniper Networks<\/a> on Wednesday said it has partnered with Turkish telecoms operator Turk Telekom<\/a> Group to promote innovation of the Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN) 5G<\/a> ecosystem.
The partnership also comprises an exclusive global licensing agreement with Netsia, a subsidiary of Turk Telekom Group, to transfer its Radio Interface Controller (RIC) technology to Juniper, including related source code and patents, in addition to exclusive rights to develop and sell products and solutions that integrate with RIC.
The partnership will also see a permanent transfer of technical domain experts from Netsia to Juniper in order to support RIC\u2019s integration into Juniper\u2019s portfolio.
The partnership also comprises an exclusive global licensing agreement with Netsia, a subsidiary of Turk Telekom Group, to transfer its Radio Interface Controller (RIC) technology to Juniper, including related source code and patents, in addition to exclusive rights to develop and sell products and solutions that integrate with RIC.
