“The Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor
Shri Manoj Sinha<\/a> launched Jio True 5G services<\/a> today, at Raj Bhawan in Jammu,” Jio said in a statement.

A Jio spokesperson said the telco has provided employment to more than 36,000 people directly and indirectly in Jammu and Kashmir.

In addition to Jammu and Kashmir, Jio also launched its True
5G<\/a> services in 25 more towns across 12 states including Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal.

WIth this, Jio’s 5G services are now available in 304 cities across the country. It is aiming to complete the roll out by December 2023.

From today, Jio users in these 27 towns will be invited to the Jio Welcome Offer, to experience unlimited data at up to 1 Gbps speeds, at no additional cost.

The benefits of Jio True 5G and the application of this immersive technology in the fields of healthcare, education, and other key sectors of importance for India was demonstrated at the launch event at Raj Bhawan, Jio said. It also showcased AR-VR device-Jio Glass.
