\"\" NEW DELHI: Computer peripheral maker Logitech<\/a> intends to beef up its wireless range of products for India, the largest market in South-East Asia as larger number of consumers take to buying smartphones and tablets, a senior executive said.

\n\n\t“We will probably introduce the UE Boom 360-degree wireless speaker in India,” Moninder Jain managing director ASEAN & India Region said, while adding that the model was the top selling product worldwide.\n

\n\n\tWith wireless speaker segment growing 80% in the third quarter and wireless keyboard and mice witnessing substantial growth in all markets including India, Jain said that the Lausanne, Switzerland headquartered company was undergoing a transformation. \n

\n\n\t“People want technology on the go,” Jain said, adding that sales from wired peripherals were growing just as fast as wireless across markets owing to computer penetration in developing markets including India. “People who have smartphones or tablets want to move on to the next step – laptops or desktops. The smartphone and tablet industry will do a big favour to laptop and desktop industry, and we will do fine in both segments,” he added.\n

The company which also makes keyboard-folios for iPads and Samsung tablets added that its focus will be on
wireless products<\/a> across business segments of music, gaming and core computer peripherals in both online and offline channels. The company works with all three online retailers – Amazon, Flipkart and Snapdeal – and works through leading peripheral distributors in India.

\n\n\tLogitech has five experience centres in India, the only market which has such stores in South East Asia.\n
