Agartala: A man possessing sophisticated telecom equipment was today arrested by security forces from Rahimpur, a village near Indo-Bangla border in Sonamura<\/a> sub-division of Sipahijala district, police said.<\/p>\n

Acting on a tip-off, a joint team of state police, BSF<\/a> and BSNL<\/a> officials raided the house of one Abdul Chhalam this morning and arrested him, Superintendent of Police (Control) Pradip De told reporters.<\/p>\n

\n\tSeveral high-end equipment including mobile signal booster, illegal call diverting systems and mobile antenna were recovered from his possession.<\/p>\n
