The OpenBeam portfolio comprises radio products for micro, macro, millimeter wave (mmWave), and massive MIMO (maMIMO) for O-RAN deployments.
The radio units are said to support both, licensed and unlicensed spectrum range, as well as the O-RAN 7.2 interface “OpenBeam radios will be available to the Open RAN ecosystem including vendors, operators, and system integrators,” the Texas, United States-headquartered company said in a statement.
“OpenBeam portfolio covers a wide range of deployment scenarios starting from micro-RUs to 64TR Massive MIMO Radios. OpenBeam radios deliver industry leading performance and energy efficiency packed in a small footprint,” said Rajesh Srinivasa, Senior Vice President of Radio Business Unit at Mavenir.
