The device which will be sold only through offline markets will hit retail shelves beginning next week, is the first of its kind in the world which will have the Corning<\/a> Gorilla Glass 5 at the lower end price point.

The model, which will be made in India soon, will come with free data and voice calls for a year for prepaid customers and will be limited to only one SIM per customer.
Consumers buying the phone would get 1 GB data a day and 600 minutes of offnet voice calls for a month, free of charge for a year.
Micromax aims to launch the model in other markets that it operates in including Sri Lanka , Bangladesh and Nepal in the next few months.
The new smartphone also comes with one year of screen replacement promise which is applicable from the date of activation and is valid for one screen replacement.
