NEW DELHI: Microsoft is reportedly preparing a new smartphone<\/a> under the Surface<\/a> brand after it failed to make a dent in the highly competitive market through its Lumia<\/a> brand.

\nAccording to a report by Forbes, Microsoft's Surface phone might be powered by Qualcomm's next flagship Snapdragon 830 processor.\n
\n\n\tThe Snapdragon 830 supports up to 8GB RAM. According to another report in Windows Central, Surface phone will come in three variants for different pricing tiers and markets. Microsoft is also expected to bring its Microsoft Pen technology to the line.\n
\n\n\tMicrosoft earlier launched Lumia 650 dual-SIM smartphone in India. Various reports suggest that the Lumia 650 dual-SIM could be the company's last Lumia phone.\n
