\n\n\tMoto G will be available in two variants – 8 GB storage and 1GB RAM priced at Rs 11,999 and 16 GB storage with 2 GB RAM priced at Rs 12,999 – from midnight today on Flipkart, its exclusive sales partner. ​​The new phone variants are priced a tad bit lower than the first generation Moto G phones launched ​in ​February last year, and comes with extensive protection from liquid damage.\n

\n\n\t“Moto G has been the best selling product on e-commerce platform in India, irrespective of the site,” said Amit Boni, head of India operations, without sharing sales numbers. Motorola sold over 3 million smartphones till January this year, and Boni added that the growth rate has been on same lines in the ​subsequent six months.\n

\n\n\tMotorola is giving special offers such as buyback and upgrade facility for existing Moto G and Moto E users, while 100 customers will get Moto 360 smart watch for Rs 1 and another 100 will get 100% cashback on purchasing the new Moto G.\n

\n\n\tBuyers will also get double data from Airtel and free Wynk Plus subscription for 6 months in 4G circles and 2 months for remaining circles, besides 33% off on total bill value on Myntra app and gift voucher of Rs 500 on purchase of Rs 1000 on Flipkart.\n

\n\n\tThe offers will be valid till August 2.\n

\n\n\tLenovo and Motorola operate as independent brands in India but the latter benefits from massive distribution and supply chain management the Chinese parent offers in India, as well as globally.\n

\n\n\tThe new Moto G is LTE dual​-band enabled, has a 5-inch HD display with 13 MP back and 5 MP front camera, and comes with the latest Android L version. It is powered by a 2470 mAh battery. Motorola has also introduced Moto Action, Moto Assist and Moto Display features, percolated down from premium end Moto X and Moto Turbo models.\n
