\nSix months back, MTNL introduced minimum speed of 1 Mbps across all broadband plans and now it has been upgraded to 2 Mbps.

The launch of minimum 2 Mbps broadband speed was done through a bike rally organised in Mumbai on Monday. MTNL executive director<\/a> Peeyush Agrawal flagged off the rally -- which began from Nariman Point at 11 am, took all the important roads in the city including Western Express highway, LBS marg, JVLR and finally ended at MTNL training Centre of Excellence at Powai.
