“BSNL has cleared 10% of our dues after raising funds through bonds. We were expecting that about 50% of our dues would be cleared but the BSNL management is saying the bulk of the money would be utilized for retiring bank debts. They, however, have promised to make monthly payments in installments for outstanding dues,” an official working with one of the vendors informed the publication.

The telco, however, has not yet provided any written commitment to the vendors regarding the monthly payment of dues through installments.

One of the sources familiar with the development told the publication that BSNL will continue to clear 10% of the dues going forwards as well, a practice that the telco has been following for the past two months.
