Oppo在印度设立全球5G创新实验室;再启动3个实验室

中国智能手机制造商Oppo周二表示，已在其海得拉巴研发中心建立了5G创新实验室，以寻求提升印度在5G行业的地位。Oppo表示，它还将建立另外三个功能实验室，专门用于摄像头、电源与电池和性能。

新德里:周二，中国智能手机制造商Oppo表示，已经建立了一个5G创新实验室该公司正在海得拉巴的研发中心寻求提升印度在全球市场的地位5克行业。

Tasleem Arif, Vice President & Head, R&D OPPO India. <\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone maker Oppo Tuesday said it has established a 5G innovation lab<\/a> at its Hyderabad R&D facility as it seeks to bolster India\u2019s position in the 5G<\/a> industry.

The innovation lab will enable the development of core 5G product technologies and accelerate its rollout in the country.

The Indian team will also be leading innovations for other countries including the Middle East, Africa, South Asia, Japan, and Europe, Oppo said.

<\/div><\/div>Oppo said it will also be setting up three more functional labs dedicated to Camera, Power & Battery, and Performance.

Oppo had earlier this year said that it will invest $7 billion in developing core technologies in hardware, software and system along with 5G\/6G, AI, AR, big data, and other frontier technologies over the next three years.

\u201cWith this lab setup, while we work towards developing core technologies for the 5G era and strengthen the overall ecosystem, we also aim to support India in its 5G journey. The technologies developed at the lab will mark a global footprint while promising our vision to make India an innovation hub,\u201d said Tasleem Arif, Vice President & Head, R&D Oppo India.

Oppo said that the development aptly ties to the brand\u2019s latest announced 3+N+X strategy where N refers to the technical fields that Oppo has been spearheading, including connectivity and AI. 5G, as the latest connectivity breakthrough in the world.
