Jio’s new cricket led pre-paid packs include three base packs ranging in validity from 14 days to 84 days and include different additional data vouchers depending on the cost of the plan. The add-on data packs range in additional data allowance of 50 GB to 150 GB.
Competitors Bharti Airtel<\/a> and Vodafone Idea<\/a> are yet to announce offers around the IPL<\/a>.
The prepaid packs can be used by Jio True 5G users<\/a>. Jio True 5G<\/a> is the brand under which Jio provides its 5G services.
The IPL, which will start at the end of this month, will be telecast on JioCinema<\/a>, part of Viacom18, also a Reliance Industries<\/a> unit. The tournament will be streamed free for all consumers on digital in 4K definition.
The digital telecast of the T20 tourney will also include features like multi-camera angles which users can avail on the mobile screen as well.
