Reliance Jio<\/a>, which yesterday introduced two new short validity plans, has quietly reduced the validity of one of its popular plan.

The plan in news comes under affordable packs and is priced at Rs 1,299 and now offers 24 GB of data and now offers 336 days of validity. The same plan used to offer 365 days of validity earlier.

However, Jio has not tweaked its benefits. So now the Rs 1,299 plan still offers unlimited Jio to Jio calls while for other networks, it has a fair usage policy of 12,000 minutes. There is a limit on SMSes also; you can send 3600 SMSes under the Rs 1,299 plan, ofcourse within the validity time period of 336 days.

Jio is offering complimentary access to its apps too.

Jio has also tweaked its long term Rs 2020 plan which is now priced at Rs 2,121 that has validity of 336 days against 365 days of Rs 2020 plan.
