Techwave, which currently has an India headcount of 1,800, plans to house 80% of its employees in state by 2025, which translates into nearly 8,000 techies to be based in the Hyderabad GDC by then, its chairman Damodar Gummadapu<\/a> told TOI.
The Houston-headquartered company’s Hyderabad GDC comprises not just two facilities in the city but also one in Khamman and a proposed one in Warangal. It has about 50 techies in locations such as Bengaluru and Mumbai but they too are clubbed under the Hyderabad GDC, he said.

The plan, he said, was to take the Khammam and Warangal centre headcounts to 1,000 techies each by 2025 and have the remaining 6,000-odd techies stationed at Hyderabad.
