A top level expat management rejig is happening in India’s largest consumer electronics brand, Samsung<\/a>. Samsung India<\/a> chief executive officer Ken Kang<\/a> has been replaced by the company’s mobile phone business head JB Park<\/a> who took charge last weekend.

Park was recently promoted as the executive vice president in Samsung. Chief financial officer Daeju Kim, who too became an executive vice president, is moving into a new role globally along with Samsung India head of customer service SD Do, and deputy managing director and chief relations officer Peter Rhee. The head for the network business, Jimsock Lee, too has been replaced.

These changes were announced internally last weekend. The successor for these roles and that of mobile phone business head is still not announced. Industry executives said these changes are precursor to the changes in the Indian executive leadership team in the company.
