NEW DELHI: Telecom regulator TRAI<\/a> is considering imposing penalty on operators who have not met the new service quality norms for December quarter, according to sources.<\/p>\n

\n\t\"We will be imposing some penalty on those who have not met the stipulated standards,\" said a TRAI official who did not wish to be named.<\/p>\n

\n\tA final decision on the matter is yet to be taken, the source said but declined to divulge further details about the specific operators who will face the action and the amount of 'financial disincentive' that may be imposed.<\/p>\n

\"The more granular level of monitoring of call drop<\/a> has resulted into significant action against the service providers for October to December quarter,\" the source added.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe TRAI had earlier issued showcause notices to various operators for specific circles for not meeting revised quality of service criteria as laid down by the regulator.<\/p>\n

新德里:电信监管机构火车正在考虑对经营者实施处罚没有遇到新的12月季度服务质量规范,根据来源。

“我们将实施一些惩罚那些没有达到规定的标准,”一位火车官员表示不愿具名。

最终决定对此事尚未,消息人士表示,但拒绝透露进一步细节具体行动和运营商将面临的“金融抑制”可能实施。
