\n\n\tThe telco partnered with an NGO-CHILDLINE-and its ‘Uninor Unites’ volunteers organized awareness campaigns against exploitation of children as workers in households, manufacturing domain, road side eateries and construction sites.\n

The company also raised funds from its vendor partners including Alcatel Lucent, Spice Digital and employees to sponsor education<\/a> for children rescued by CHILDLINE.

“We continue to be vigilant against child labour in our supply chain management. It is even more important to generate conversation against this practice to create some sensitivity amongst,\" said Pooja Thakran<\/a>, Chief Communication Officer and Head of Corporate Responsibility at Uninor India.
