“It is great to get appreciated for our consistent efforts. Ookla<\/a> verification second time in a row has motivated us to continue enhancing the connectivity network for the customers,” said Arvinder Singh Sachdev, Business Head - Delhi, Vodafone Idea<\/a>.

“We hope that more customers will join our Vodafone<\/a> 4G bandwagon and take delight in our premium content offerings from Sony Liv, Zee5, Shemaroo, Hoi Choi etc. available on the Vodafone Play App,” he said.

Vodafone Idea<\/a> is upgrading its network capacity in Delhi NCR region and has completed network integration in East Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida & Ghaziabad regions. It has implemented technologies like 8400 Massive MIMO (Multiple-Input and Multiple-Output), Small Cells and TDD (Time Division Duplex) sites to enhance coverage and network capacity in Delhi NCR.
The recent network initiatives have resulted in Vodafone 4G delivering fastest speeds in the metro, said Ookla in a press release on Monday.

Vodafone Idea offers 4G, 3G and 2G services through its network of 11094 sites and 53.8 Megahertz of spectrum in Delhi NCR. As per latest data by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Vodafone Idea has the largest wireless subscriber base of 1.9 crore in Delhi, followed by Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel.

Fastest 4G speeds in Delhi NCR is based on analysis by Ookla Speedtest Intelligence data of mean download speeds basis tests taken by 4G users using the <\/span>popular Speedtest app from October to December 2019.
