“There was temporary disruption in services in parts of Bangalore<\/a> today, due to fibre cuts in the city and outskirts. Our prompt response action ensured full restoration of services within a short time. We regret any inconvenience caused to our customers,” said the telco in a statement on Friday.

The customers in the affected circles were without network for most of the day and by evening the network was restored.

Telcos have been facing an issue with right of way (RoW) for years now and it has been a constant issue with the government that RoW needs to be improved for smooth operations and network speeds.
