\"Vodafone<\/figure>NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea<\/a>'s enterpise arm has partnered with DisplayRide<\/a> to offer Rideshare Monitoring as a Service<\/a> (RMaaS<\/a>) with an aim to deliver enhanced safer rideshare experience.

The DisplayRide Rideshare Monitoring<\/a> Platform (RMP) on which the solution is based, records video and optionally audio as well, inside and outside of the vehicle independently during a ride and helps in documenting the journey, DisplayRide said in a joint statement.

Under the partnership, DisplayRide will combine its innovation skills with Vodafone Idea Business<\/a>\u2019 expertise in Internet of Things (IoT) deployments to deliver Rideshare Monitoring as a Service (RMaaS), a seamless end-to-end service that can be scaled at a low total cost of ownership, the companies said in a joint statement.

<\/div><\/div>The RMaaS solution will effectively and economically help in addressing the challenges of knowing the events that transpired during the journey, especially since undesirable incidents such as physical and verbal assaults have become commonplace, said DisplayRide.

DisplayRide\u2019s Rideshare Monitoring Platform (RMP) offers a range of additional services including an advertising\/branding platform, as well as in-depth analytics. It also has features that support COVID-19 related hygiene and safety protocols. It can be conveniently integrated to Rideshare platforms as well as Service Providers\u2019 operational support systems through an API, said DisplayRide.
