The centre of excellence is being set up with the objective to facilitate research advisory and policy support for the telecom sector, and contribute to

InViCT will function as an autonomous research centre involving the private sector, academia, and the government. Its core research focus will be on the broader areas of policies, regulation and practices related to telecom and other related sectors including ICT, according to the press release.

The centre will host regular workshops and round table meetings and facilitate a forum for the stakeholders to discuss ideas. The research centre may also tie-up with recognized incubators to promote research in the future.
