NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea on Thursday said it has commenced spectrum refarming across seven cities in Uttar Pradesh--Haldwani, Agra, Dehradun, Moradabad, Rudrapur, Hardwar, and Lucknow--to enhance its GIGAnet 4G capacity.
Vi said it has deployed 5MHz of 2100MHz spectrum band in the circle which will provide higher download and upload speeds, as well as wider coverage, network quality, and improved traffic carriage capacity in the state.
Vi recently undertook spectrum refarming in Kerala circle and in Mumbai as well as Delhi circles, where 5 MHz of 2100 MHz spectrum has been deployed for enhancing GIGAnet 4G capacity.
“The network augmentation initiative is our endeavour to offer our customers an enhanced 4G experience to complement the surge in data demand.
