The telco in December had paid bondholders NCDs of about Rs 1500 crore and the latest tranche is part of the Rs 4500 crore it had to pay by February end

Vi has to shell out Rs 4,000 crore in January towards redemption of the NCDs and another Rs 500 crore in February.

The telco's managing director (MD) Ravinder Takkar<\/a> in an analyst call had said that Vi is talking to lenders and investors for debt relief, equity funding and for repayment of bonds maturing this fiscal year. It expects to conclude such discussions by the end of March 2022.
