Vi will offer upto 2GB of extra data at no extra cost every month to its prepaid users as part of the ‘Vi Hero Unlimited’ campaign.

“To ensure a worry-free data experience for its prepaid users Vi has launched ‘Vi Hero Unlimited Campaign’ with yet another unique proposition, ‘Data Delight’. With this, Vi users can unlock up to 2GB of extra data every month, over & above their daily quota, at no extra cost,” the telco said in a statement Wednesday.

The ‘Vi Hero Unlimited’ also offers other benefits such as unlimited high-speed data from 12am to 6am and weekend data rollover.

Vi Hero Unlimited packs start with recharges of Rs. 299 and above daily data quota packs.

“Vi Hero Unlimited packs are structured to provide a one-stop solution to the common concern of data quota exhaustion faced by prepaid users,” the telco said.

“Vi’s management expects future tariff hikes to be driven by a greater hike on the higher usage plans and a lower one, in percentage terms, on entry level\/base plans,” said Credit Suisse, which participated in the telco’s March quarter earnings call on Wednesday.<\/p><\/div>
