NEW DELHI: Vodafone<\/a> India has emerged as a top enterprise service provider for the year 2015, according to the US-based market research firm Frost & Sullivan<\/a>. Vodafone Business Services (VBS<\/a>), the enterprise arm of Vodafone India won the award for the ‘Enterprise Mobile Service Provider of the Year’ for the sixth year in a row, the telco said in a statement Friday.
\n\n\tIn addition, the Indian subsidiary of the UK-headquartered telco also for the first time awarded the ‘Enterprise Telecom Service Provider of the Year’ in the small-and-medium business category.\n
\n\n\t“Vodafone Business Services is very grateful for this recognition as we continue on our journey to be the most trusted and valued total communications partner with solutions across fixed, mobility, cloud and IoT,” Vodafone Business Services director Nick Gliddon said.\n
\n\n\tThrough VBS, the telco serves its enterprise sector customers with a host of mobility solutions and has lately shifted focus to small and medium-sized companies in tier-II and tier-III cities with its Ready Business 2.0 preposition.\n
\n\n\t\"In 2015, Vodafone demonstrated excellence across its mobility portfolio and made strides in penetrating and targeting the SMB segment,” Benoy CS, Director, ICT Practice, Frost & Sullivan said.\n
\n\n\tIn the SMB segment Vodafone has been at the forefront of innovation to empower SME companies to meet the challenges of the current business environment and equip them to prepare for their next phase of growth, Benoy added.\n
\n\n\tFrost & Sullivan anticipates that Vodafone is well positioned to act as a business enabler for enterprises in the coming global and hypercompetitive business landscape.\n
