WhatsApp rolled out a new Windows app a few weeks ago. The app looks similar to the web version of the platform and it is available to download on the Microsoft Store. It is based on Universal Windows Platform (UWP) which means it can sync in the background and receive notifications even when it is not running. Now, as per WABetaInfo, the company has rolled out the first beta update of the new app with stability improvements and bug fixes.

As reported by WABetaInfo, the company is seeking feedback about the app from users. A feedback button was available for beta users at the bottom left corner in the previous version.
