NEW DELHI: Xiaomi<\/a>'s India managing director Manu Jain<\/a> said that the company has retained all its 50,000 employees and partners despite the challenges brought about by coronavirus<\/a> pandemic in the country.
To support its offline partners and revive sales, Xiaomi has rolled out its new 'Mi Commerce<\/a>' solution, a product discovery platform where users will be able to see Xiaomi inventory available at nearby store.
The offline-to-online solution will help its retail partners to help people discover products while staying at home and, yet, buy the products offline. The last mile delivery, which will be \"contactless\", will be carried out by retailers.
Another Chinese handset brand Vivo had on Sunday announced that it is enabling 20,000 of its retail partners to begin smartphone<\/a> sales where the company will help customers connect with retailers in their neighbourhood to make purchases
