Reviewing the status of the finance department, the CM also ordered the setting up of an anti-land mafia task force in UP to ensure action against squatters on government land. Adityanath<\/a> also directed officials to ensure that mechanisms are put in place to ensure the same tract of land did not get registered repeatedly.

\nOn Tuesday, the CM directed officials to get ready a detailed implementation programme under which encroached government properties should be identified and action initiated to vacate them. He also ordered the setting up of three-tier committees at the district, division and state level to identify unoccupied government land and to put it to use for public good, as s found necessary.

\nAdityanath said all departments must ensure that fund utilisation certificates are furnished to the Centre in a timely manner to ensure that disbursement of funds is not affected. He also said the State Disaster Relief Fund money should be set up according to the rules to ensure that there is a ready mechanism in place to deal with natural disasters, if any.

\nHe also ordered the disbanding of 232 sub-treasuries that were found defunct and has ordered the shifting of its manpower to more useful assignments.
